Watch Richard Gutierrez play the role of Lupin III on MYPINOY.TV

Who is your favorite Anime character? If you are going to ask me, I should say that my favorite is Andre Lupin of the tv series, Lupin III. Not only do I consider the master of trickery and disguise, but also, I credit his talent and skill iof deception among his opponents for him to be able to escape further punishment, trouble, and debts. In so doing, such unique character makes me admires Lupin’s personality the most.

However skilled and considered genius in accomplishing his goals in his line of work, Lupin is also weak when it comes to handling his heart affairs. In the Pinoy version of Lupin III, which I have recently watched, I realized that Lupin (starred by Richard Gutierrez in the Pinoy version) had a love interest named Angelie (Abby Cruz). In the Pinoy version, it was shown that Lupin had chosen a normal life and decent life but his father, Duroy would not just let him decide for his own life that he dictates that Lupin continues to join him in his indecent job to acquire lots of money. Lupin tried his best to get away from the accustomed evil activities of Duroy but the latter would not just give him his freedom; rather, Duroy killed Lupin’s fiancé as the two were about to get married. And so, Lupin just has no choice but to return to his previous job.

I also recalled Lupin’s weakness back in the Anime version when he often gets distracted whenever he sees Fujiko—a beautiful, and sexy woman assassin. Instead of escaping the opponents, Lupin usually end up in trouble every time he sees his romantic interest, Fujiko. In brief, I enjoyed the Pinoy version of Lupin III as much as I enjoed the original Anime cartoon. I like the Pinoy version because its remake was created in such a way that it was adjusted to fit into the Philippine setting.

Lupin III cartoon, remaked by GMA 7 (Pinoy version) Available at MyPinoy.tv

An anime cartoon with action, filled with mystery and secrets, A James Bond- like or Sherlock Holmes- mystery fiction is what comes to my mind when I hear of the all-time popular and widely known Anime cartoon, Lupin III. Because of Lupin’s witty and smart character, he is able to win and captivate the hearts of the beautiful, hottest women you could ever see. Sometimes, Lupin’s charisma is very useful to out wit his enemies and outsmart the women opponents as well. So because of Lupin’s mystic and unique character, it made me want to watch him back when the Anime cartoon was aired in GMA network on channel 7.

These are just some of the reasons why I got curious watching the Pinoy version of the Japanese Anime cartoon, Lupin III as well. Back in year 2007 (I think it’s the second week of August), GMA network had launched and aired the debut of Lupin III –Pinoy version. Though I have watched some scenes during the first week of its airing, I was not able to watch it full because I am busy with my work.

Meanwhile, it was just two weeks ago when I was surfing the net and suddenly a discovered a website offering a complete streaming of Pinoy tv shows, news, and films as well. Jam-packed with complete episodes, and star-studded Pinoy tv shows, MyPinoy.tv website was very helpful for a couch potato like me because I enjoy watching tv during leisure time (I am a couch potato once I do not have any work to do). From there, I realized that MyPinoy.tv (http://Mypinoy.tv) contains the collection of my favorite Pinoy seryes. Two of them are Encantadia and this Lupin III, I registered and subscribed at MyPinoy.tv after I was able to watch the free trial of my most-wanted episodes. I just recently finshed watching Encantadia and I got so satisfied for the fantaserye has a very good plot. Apparently, I am still enjoying unraveling the secrets of Lupin III and I am about to finish at the end of this week. J
